Safety & Legal Disclosures
Official email correspondence and support
Official automated account, billing, and subscription notices are sent from notifications@stopscamnow.com. Customer support, questions, concerns, billing inquiries, privacy requests, and technical-support requests go to support@stopscamnow.com. Replies to our automated notices are directed to support@stopscamnow.com. Sign-in verification messages may be sent separately by our authentication provider. Our website is https://stopscamnow.com. Sending an email request does not guarantee an immediate response or recovery of scam losses. We will never ask you to send your password, sign-in verification code, bank PIN, or gift cards by email. Sender addresses can be spoofed; verify unexpected requests by visiting our website independently and contacting support@stopscamnow.com.
Scam checks are not a guarantee
StopScamNow identifies warning signs—not certainty. Scams change, language and images can be misunderstood, and legitimate communications can be flagged. A low score is never permission to send money or share information. Review the reasons, stop if unsure, and verify the request through a trusted independent channel. No disclaimer can eliminate liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Not professional advice or insurance
This is an educational and informational aid, not legal, financial, cybersecurity, medical, or emergency advice. It is not a bank, law-enforcement agency, antivirus product, insurance policy, or recovery service. It does not guarantee reimbursement for fraud or loss. If you have sent money, call your bank using the number on your card and report the incident promptly.
How the tool works
Local checks use original heuristic warning rules, including suspicious payment requests, pressure, remote-access installation requests, IP-address requests, and common impersonation patterns. Public educational examples from creators such as Pleasant Green and Kitboga inform general tactics; their videos are not copied, and we do not claim the software has been trained on their video collections. Those creators do not sponsor, endorse, or operate StopScamNow. Language checks do not make assumptions about a person's honesty based on nationality, ethnicity, accent, religion, or language. Translation is not provided.
Remote access and familiar people
Tools such as AnyDesk and TeamViewer have legitimate uses, but unexpected requests to install them or grant computer access are serious warning signs. Similarly, requests for an IP address require context and do not by themselves prove fraud. Knowing a sender does not guarantee safety: accounts and caller IDs can be compromised or spoofed. Verify unusual requests even when a name looks familiar.
