Official email correspondence and support

Official automated account, billing, and subscription notices are sent from notifications@stopscamnow.com. Customer support, questions, concerns, billing inquiries, privacy requests, and technical-support requests go to support@stopscamnow.com. Replies to our automated notices are directed to support@stopscamnow.com. Sign-in verification messages may be sent separately by our authentication provider. Our website is https://stopscamnow.com. Sending an email request does not guarantee an immediate response or recovery of scam losses. We will never ask you to send your password, sign-in verification code, bank PIN, or gift cards by email. Sender addresses can be spoofed; verify unexpected requests by visiting our website independently and contacting support@stopscamnow.com.

Who provides this service

Effective October 17, 2026. StopScamNow is provided by Hodge Innovations LLC, located in Flower Mound, Texas, United States. Contact support@stopscamnow.com for support, billing, or legal questions. These terms apply to the website and protection tools. Protection access requires a verified email, completed profile, and your affirmative selection agreeing to the current Terms, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Legal Disclosures. Merely starting signup does not record that agreement. Review these documents before selecting agreement or subscribing.

What StopScamNow does—and does not do

StopScamNow is a second-opinion informational tool that identifies warning signs in text you provide, screenshot text extracted on your device, and call-side transcripts. Its local rules can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. It does not use OpenAI or provide translation. It can miss scams and can flag legitimate messages. A low score, missing warning, or apparently safe result is not proof that a person, offer, website, or transaction is safe. No result is foolproof, a guarantee, or a certification. Do not rely on it as your sole basis for a decision. The service does not automatically block scams, intercept telephone calls, monitor all activity, recover losses, or provide fraud insurance.

Your responsibility and urgent situations

Pause before sharing money, passwords, verification codes, personal information, or remote access. Independently verify a request through an official telephone number or website you find yourself. Do not rely solely on this service for financial, legal, medical, emergency, or security decisions. It is not professional advice and does not create a professional-client relationship. If money or information has been exposed, contact your bank and relevant authorities promptly. Call emergency services for immediate danger.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide your first and last name, verify your email, explicitly accept the current Terms, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Legal Disclosures, protect your login, and notify us of unauthorized use. Required profile and consent completion is necessary before protection access. One card-free introductory trial window is available per normalized email address. Deleting an account does not reset or grant another trial. If you rejoin using that email, you may use only any remaining portion of its original 24-hour window; no new 24 hours are added. Attempts to evade payment or trial limits are prohibited. Your account is personal and must not be shared or resold. You must have permission to provide any content, record sound, or capture a screen. Recording and privacy laws vary, and you are responsible for required consent.

24-hour free trial—no card required

The single trial window lasts 24 hours from the first eligible account creation for a normalized email address, not from your first scan or first payment. No payment card is required to start it, and the trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. Rejoining may use only time remaining in that original window; deleting an account does not restart the clock. When it ends, protection features require a subscription. You can still access your account and billing controls. Trial times are measured by the server; displayed times may use your device's time zone.

$25 USD monthly subscription, plus applicable taxes and fees

You subscribe only by choosing the paid plan and completing Stripe checkout. The price is $25 USD per month, plus applicable taxes and fees, charged at purchase and recurring monthly until canceled. Subscribing before the free trial ends starts paid billing immediately; unused trial time is not added to the paid period. Stripe processes payment details. You authorize the recurring payments disclosed at checkout. Any applicable taxes or additional amounts must be displayed before payment. If a payment fails, paid access may be suspended until resolved. We do not grant paid access based solely on a checkout success redirect.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime through Account & billing → Manage billing. Ordinary cancellation stops the next renewal and leaves paid access available until the end of the current paid period. There are no prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by applicable law. Contact support@stopscamnow.com for billing errors or legally required refunds. Any mandatory cancellation or refund rights override these terms. Deleting your account immediately cancels its subscriptions and access rather than waiting until the paid period ends; it does not itself issue a refund.

Account deletion

The Account & billing page provides permanent account deletion with an explicit confirmation. We cancel active subscriptions and expire pending checkouts before deleting your login. If cancellation fails, deletion is not reported as complete. Local reviews and settings on the current browser are cleared when deletion succeeds. Locally stored content on other devices must be removed from those devices. Financial records, delivery records, security records, and legally necessary information may remain for the purposes and periods explained in the Privacy Policy. Deleting an account cannot undo a payment already processed.

Acceptable use and ownership

Do not use this service for fraud, harassment, unlawful recording, privacy violations, attacks, circumventing security or payment controls, or redistributing content without permission. Do not submit content you are not authorized to use. You retain your rights to your submitted content; you authorize only the processing needed to provide the features you choose. We retain rights to the service, branding, and original software. Public scam-education references do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by their creators.

Availability and changes

Features depend on your device, browser, connectivity, and third-party providers. Microphone transcription and screen capture may not be supported on every device. We may maintain, modify, or suspend the service for security, legal, or operational reasons. We may suspend misuse with notice where practical. Material changes to these terms or pricing will be announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before taking effect, unless a shorter period is necessary for legal or security reasons. Pricing changes apply prospectively, and you can cancel before renewal.

Disclaimers and limits, where the law allows

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Hodge Innovations LLC and StopScamNow do not promise to detect every scam, prevent loss, or make your communications safe. You remain responsible for decisions and for how you use or misuse an output; losses may result from relying on an output, failing to verify independently, or other use or misuse of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Hodge Innovations LLC nor StopScamNow is liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including losses caused by scammers or reliance on an output. Aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event. These provisions do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or caps; in those jurisdictions the permitted limits apply. All nonwaivable rights and exceptions remain in effect.

Governing law and disputes

Texas law governs this agreement, without displacing mandatory consumer protections where you live. Please contact support@stopscamnow.com first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Subject to nonwaivable local rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, disputes may be brought in the competent state or federal courts serving Denton County, Texas. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive nonwaivable consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent lawful.
