Look for pressure, payment changes, and private-information requests
Be cautious about urgent account closures, unexpected refund offers, changed bank details on an invoice, and requests for passwords or one-time codes. Confirm invoices and payment changes by calling a known contact on a saved number. Do not install remote-access software just because an unexpected email tells you to.
